The wait is finally over, we have moved into our little dream house! We moved last weekend with many family and friends helping out (thanks soooo much!). The move was fairly uneventful up until our dear next door neighbor accidentally cut a gas line...long story short, the fire department evacuated us from our new home and we couldn't return for 1.5 hours. Oh so exciting! So, we adore our new home. It is a little 3 bedroom, 2 bath, ranch style house built in 1958. The house is in pristine condition and was totally move in ready. We bought the house from the original owners...imagine that!
There are too many things we love about our new home, here are some of our favorites: our beautiful front door, our funky light fixtures, our "Jetsons" door knobs, our retro bathroom tiles, original hardwood floors, green backyard and of course the exposed beams and cozy sun room. We can't wait to decorate and buy some furniture. We can't help but daydream about Christmas mornings, Easter egg hunts, birthday parties and more! All of our neighbors are super friendly and there are some original owners here that have been living here since the 50's! The neighborhood is very well taken care of and many of our friends and family have made Leave it to Beaver references! Home sweet home indeed!
