LA LA Land at Christmastime!

Ty and I headed to LA a couple days after Christmas for some fun in LA! We started our venture in Anaheim where we had dinner at Medieval Times. That was loads of fun! We ate our dinner with our hands (they don't hand out utensils there) and we watched a thrilling tournament with horses, jousting and sword fighting! The next day we headed to Disneyland (one of our favorite places in the whole world!) We had never been at Christmastime and it was gorgeous! Every square inch of that place was decorated for Christmas and they had completely gutted the Haunted Mansion to do it up for Nightmare Before Christmas.

After the Anaheim excitement, we visited with Ty's grandmother in Chino. It was very nice to visit with her at her new swanky senior living digs. We also visited with our friends, the Strawns in Mission Hills who have a new baby, Owen! We had a great breakfast at The Griddle in Hollywood (giant pancakes,...yes please!) We wrapped up our trip with a stay with our friends, the Bradleys, in Ventura. We played at the beach, hit some antique and thrift stores and had an overall amazing time. My childhood friend Ali is pregnant with their second child and their 2 year old daughter Noelle is just such a kick!

After a week in LA, you would think I would have gotten a tan, right? Nope, still rockin the pale winter skin!
